A brief update regarding some talented musicians I know:
I’ve been enjoying Emily Hope Price’s 365 Project since she started it early this month. She’s recording a song a day for a whole year, and each day she produces something unique and interesting. So far she’s done solo songs with her cello, instrumentals, collaborations with other musicians, and other fun things. You can hear the songs on the 365 Project blog.
Ian Axel released his new album, This is the New Year on January 5th. My favorite track so far is “Girl I Got A Thing” which I’ve enjoyed since I first heard him play it a long time ago with a different title. Visit Ian’s website for music samples and information on how to buy the album. There’s also a video of the title song here: “This is the New Year” on YouTube.

Here’s the Jack O’Lantern I carved today:

Also, a note about a quick (one song) appearance in NYC this week. The Sidewalk Cafe periodically holds “I Heart You” nights with local songwriters covering each other’s songs. I’m playing at this Thursday’s show, called “I Heart Boo” because it’s the week of Halloween. If you’re in the area, check it out – it’s going to be a fun night. 8pm, all ages, no cover. More info at the Sidewalk website.
Have a happy and safe Halloween!

This is the redesigned and expanded website. Here are some of the changes you’ll find:
- a new page dedicated to my freelance work with videos and a list of credits
- an expanded photo gallery
- new friends added to the links page
- I set up the homepage as a blog. You can now leave comments and subscribe to the RSS feed for updates on the site and my various projects (the best way to stay informed about performances is still to subscribe to my mailing list)
As always, with a new site design, let me know if you catch any typos. And stay tuned for updates about the new album as I’m working on it.
