Eli Maniscalco

Bio

Eli Maniscalco is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who sings about people he’s never known, places he’s never seen, and things he’s never done. A musical storyteller in the folk tradition, he finds inspiration in everything from classical mythology to contemporary culture.

Having released two albums to date, Maniscalco has shown wide-ranging musical tastes, from the world-folk-jazz of his debut release, Everything You Say, to the funky Americana of his latest effort, Connections. He continues to explore these styles and more in his songwriting, in his comic folk duo Russ & Eli, and in his work as a sideman with other artists. He is based in Long Island, New York.
